This will be the craziest and most impressive achievement ever done in Infinity Homepage.

I know that this probably won't be done, considering the task's complexity and the little number of active user. 

However, I believe you guys can do it.

And if the mission is done, we'll prove that Infinity Homepage can create literally 

anything, which (maybe) make the website more popular

(and for the sake of Rule 86)

my code for pixel art on this site is long gone, but i can remake it in like an hour or smth... 

but im prob going to release a version of it with less functionality, because some pixel arts use an exploit that i dont want matt to patch out lmao

it forced me to log in to edit more boxes

also i dont think you should do it on the box montage; it would require botting since it updates slowly, has ratelimit, and it would just take days

you can do it in individual boxes, though, since jumping to a number puts that number box in the top left all the time

i had the idea to do it at one point but couldnt really be bothered tbh

I have some question to ask you:

First, about the code, the thing I care about most is not how you can color the pixels, but how you can "compress" the pixel art (you make some of yours really small, although you said that 21x19 is the maximum size)

I really want to use it to increase the pixel art size.

But if it's the "exploit" you're using, then feel free to keep it a secret.

If you reply to me a second time, please tell me more clearly about this (and maybe give me the code)

Secondly, wdym "do it"? The Bad Apple project?

If that's the case, then there are 3 things:

1. I don't do it on box montage (I draw a frame just for fun)

2. Thanks for the advice. But that's what I initially thought. However, you need to take a screenshot for every frame, which takes a lot of time 

Actually, I have a way to do it by using the box history feature (more info at box 2140116161249900), which doesn't need multiple screenshots and everyone can watch it directly

If you have any comments about the tech, comment in the area I prepared there

Rn I only make the animation at 6 FPS (I may do more in the future)

3. I don't want to continue the project atm (school has started + it won't get recognition).

But I may do it later, who knows?

Some fun facts I want to share:

1. I've just known abt bad apple since July (and literally addicted to it)

2. I'm surprised that you're think about it for one point (I shouldn't have bc of the animation's popularity)

yes, the smaller pixel arts use an exploit. when i talk about "compression" on my homepage, it's about using fewer color styles with the [▀▄█ ] characters (so if a color from one set of 2 pixels is used somewhere in the one to the right, 

then you can use one less color style. There is a hard limit on how much raw html data can be in a single box). If you're doing bad apple, I suggest just using the four characters in the box to the left, since it is all in black/white anyway.

You should easily be able to fill the whole box, since you're not changing the color/background styles for each character, and that's actually what takes up a majority of the box's data.

And again, all the code is long gone lmao. But it really shouldn't be hard to do with black/white. It was just a JS program that plots the image onto an HTML canvas element, then checks pixels' colors from there. The rest is simple.

Side note about compression: I would sometimes chop up colors in characters that were next to each other that were "close enough" to make them larger while still being under the limit. That's why they look JPEG-ish sometimes.

basically "compression" is just the fact that every character above shares one color/background style, but you can change what you do with those styles
